LAKE UNION

These Art Photography Images are from the portfolio on my website called Bumps, Scrapes And Peels. Both these images are from the sides of rusted peeling commercial fishing boats on Lake Union in Seattle. Most of these boats fish the Alaskan waters and come into the fresh water Lake Union during the winter months to be refitted for another season. I would go early in the morning or late in the day to get the dramatic light and search the sides of these boats for images and faces In the rust and paint. Perhaps these boats much like water hold the energy of the fisherman that work them. I found many of these faces in their worn sides.
