THE GATHERING

I call these Art Photography Images “The Gathering” To me they represent lots of people, figures or faces, crowds of people. There seems to be one main figure in the middle which is the focus. It’s a water reflection from a boat harbor in Ventura, CA. I used my boat to get close to this brightly painted red Mississippi Paddle Boat that was used for parties. By getting close to it with my boat in the contrasty early morning light I was able to photograph it’s beautiful interesting reflection in the water. I used my boat to swirl the water and break up the reflections into these patterns and shot at least a hundred digital images. Later in the edit process I found these three that tell the story for me.
