Geoffrey Baris has been a renowned, international, fine art and fashion photographer for over 35 years. Throughout his career, he photographed for most of the major retailers, created album covers, magazines, and taken portraits of many celebrities. His fine art photographs have been in art shows and represented by galleries all over the US. His work has been purchased by most major hotels, Art Consultants, Interior Designers and loved and collected by people wanting art that is unique and special.

Many of his fine art images are of water.  Water is a constantly moving element, changing form, shape and color.  With his camera, he captures a fraction-of-a-second, a glimpse into its ever-changing movement.  It is through these windows of time that he connects with the beauty of waters’ movement into form.

He uses the camera to see another view of the real world, to explore hidden images that emerge from nature.  The true essence of photography lies beyond pure sight; it goes deeper into the soul, past everything known as color and form.
